If you are concerned about getting the vaccine, I get it.
After my son was born with serious health issues, I began asking doctors questions about everything - I realized I could not just trust that my children would be okay! I changed pediatricians after the first one got angry about my questions (about vaccines, actually!).
(I did get my children vaccinated, but not as fast as was recommended at the time.)
I deserved answers.
And if you have questions about the COVID vaccine, so do you.
The best place to get answers is often your own doctor. Even though doctors aren't perfect, that's the best place to start because your doctor is likely to know about you and your health and concerns. If you have a doctor you trust, please start there.
We all want to do our own research, too. Of course, that's tricky because there is a lot of bad information on the internet, much of it posted by people who profit from fear and distrust. No one should be making our health, our children's health, our parents' health a political issue.
I'll be posting some Questions and Answers, with links to organizations I trust. I hope it helps.
Please email nancy.johnson@connectedhomecare.com if you have other questions - or send something to your HR professional. I'll try to find answers.
